The PowerCap Active IP is a low-profile positive pressure respirator with built-in head impact-resistance intended to provide respiratory protection from particulate contaminants while alleviating the discomfort caused by traditional half masks. Includes

Pre - Filter Pads (Pack of 10)

The Powercap pre-filter pads help extend the life of the P2 filter cartridges by protecting the exposed pleats of the filters from large, visible clumps of floating particulate matter. This keeps the P2 filters running at maximum efficiency, allow for continued filtration of dangerous microscopic contaminants for extended periods and in the harshest of usage conditions.

Powercap Active P2 Filters (Pack of 2)

Replacement P2 filters for the Powercap Active replacement filters for the Powercap Active. Exceeds N95 particulate protection, meaning that the filter is 95% efficient against non-oil based particulates down to .3 microns in size.

Peel Off Visor Protectors (Pack of 10)

Peel-off visor protectors for the Powercap Active IP help keep the impact-resistant face shield scratch and dirt free, reducing the frequency of face shield replacement. Maintaining a clean, unobscured face shield helps reduce fatigue while working and greatly improve user safety.

Conforms to EN 166, EN812+A1, EN12941+A2 TH1P. Respiratory protection to EN12941:1988 TH1P. Assigned Protection Factor 10 (UK classification) equivalent to an EN149 FFP2. Visor Protection: an impact protection of EN166 1B, ideal for working in environments where there is danger of flying particles.

Very comfortable especially like the cool air flowing inside. Couldn’t believe how much dust was in the filter after turning the inside of one bowl. Would have liked information
in the instructions about running the battery flat, then charging for 16 hours. Found that out with a phone call. Enjoyed talking with the individual who took my call. Like talking to a friend, not someone in customer service. All my questions answered. Very satisfied customer.

The mask fits great, positive air flow works very well, but...
I have worked in the manufacturing industry for over 30 years as a supervisor, so I know about fit test on full face masks. with that being said I know I did not just have the filters installed improperly causing leakage, but when I was working on cutting hard board I could lightly smell the wood saw dust, it did block out the vast majority of the saw dust, but I should not be able to smell the saw dust. I know the mask is not rated for chemical fumes, so maybe I need to buy a higher grade filter.

Great, so far

The PowerCap works as advertised. I find it easy to wear, which makes me wear it when I should, unlike previous respirators. It does not get 5 stars only because the liner picks up and holds dust and wood chips like Velcro. Not a huge problem, just a minor one. Overall a well-designed, effective device.

Haven't used it that much but love it!! Several members of Prescott Area Woodturners have purchased the same package. I do have a problem with the entire Powercap moving forward. Can't seem to adjust it properly yet.
