The BioPro Plus Coverall is designed to provide pathogen and splash protection for medical first responders dealing with highly infectious patients and other biological contaminants both inside hospital environments and out in the field.

This suit is constructed from ChemMax1, which is a single-layer laminate material assembled from a polyethylene barrier film and continuous polypropylene non-woven construct, the suit provides biological and chemical liquid penetration protection in accordance with ASTM F739 testing standards. To minimize the risk of exposure for the wearer, the suit features heat-sealed chain-stitched seams and liquid proof zippers paired with double storm flaps as well as integrated thumb loops at the end of each sleeve to remove the need for taping and prevent sleeves from rolling up. Integrated foot covers paired with elasticated boot flaps ensure a tight seal at the ankles.

Available with neck dam or respirator fit hood. Neck dam variant is designed to be matched with a powered air respirator and features a MicroMax NS lining around the collar. Hooded variants feature a rear-entry zipper with a long pull tab to eliminate the risk of the wearer placing their hands near their face and reduce chance of self-contamination during donning and doffing.

Test Methodologies

Chemical resistance data is in accordance with ASTM F1001 test methodology. Testing is performed on fabric samples only, not actual garments. Sample results vary and therefore averages for the results are reported. Sources for all test data are independent laboratory conditions and not actual use conditions.

Suit material is protective against bacteria, protozoans, rickettsia, toxins, and viruses. Biopenetration resistance is measured in accordance with ASTM F1671 – Standard Test Method

All PPE, regardless of approval, should not be used without medical sign-off by a certified physician or without the approval of a qualified safety manager.

BioPro Plus coveralls are not flame resistant and should not be used around heat, flame, sparks, or in potentially flammable or explosive environments.

BioPro Plus coveralls should have slip-resistant or anti-slip materials on the outer surface of boots, shoe covers, or other garment surfaces in conditions where slipping could occur.
