- Scalable architecture allows for a variety of dimensions and envelope layouts, including bariatric and lightweight spine board compatible variants
- Rapidly-inflatable base frame constructed from HYTEX drop-stitch PVC or reinforced Hypalon for maximum, puncture-resistant structural rigidity, and unmatched portability
- Containment envelope made from optically clear, tear-resistant PVC with low or zero absorption characteristics
- Variable flow-rate blower unit that guarantees 14-16 complete air changes per hour
- Deployable in as little as 45 seconds using an electric-inflator, or 2 minute using a mechanical two-way pump
- Man-packable in a backpack or hold-all, depending on requirements
- System weighs ~41 lbs as shown
- Containment envelope provisioned access ports to allow IV, fluid lines, and patient monitoring systems to be passed in from the outside while it is in use
- All MilPod envelopes are pressure tested prior to sale to the same standard as fully-encapsulated Level A Hazmat Coveralls
- TAA compliant
The Peke Safety MedPod (patent pending) provides a highly portable, negative / positive air pressure patient isolation transport environment powered by a variable flow-rate PAPR blower suitable for chem / bio applications. The system is designed to protect EMS workers and other first responders from off-gassing patients and casualties while also preventing contamination of vehicles and infrastructure.
For maximum visibility and structural rigidity the system is constructed from drop-stitch reinforced FR-rated HYTEX PVC and .5mm clear vinyl, and is capable of supporting a patient without the need for a spine board or stretcher. Inflatable design allows the unit to take up as small a footprint as possible, deployable in as little as 45 seconds using an electric-inflator, or 2 minute using a mechanical two-way pump, and a lack of parts to assemble allows for the fastest setup time of any patient isolation stretcher available on the market.
Includes 2 access ports to allow IV, fluid lines, ventilators and patient monitoring systems and two passthrough portals for re-provisioning supplies in the envelope while it is in use.
All MedPod envelopes are pressure tested prior to sale to the same standard as fully-encapsulated Level A Hazmat Coveralls.
