Okay I'm a bit disappointed. First the positive stuff. The field of view is amazing. Face shield feels stronger than most of the ones I have including my 3M PAPR system. Before my further impressions, I’ve only used it for about an hour and it worked well.
Number one, this comes without a charging cable or power supply, so that’s extra, really on a machine with a retail of over $500 and the manufacturer can’t put in a charging cable. I called Peke about it, and they had to call the manufacturer to verify and yep that’s how they package it. The cable and power supply is an additional $70~. It uses a USB-C port, so charging isn’t a real problem. It seems a bit on the heavy side, but the balance is fine and after using it, no neck problems. If you have a weak neck or neck problems, be aware of the weight. I have the Peke Safety cap, and it is lighter. Air flow is ok, but again not as powerful as the Safety cap. Finally putting it on and taking it off. The opening for the shroud is on the small side with a stretchy string and material; glasses and hearing aids beware as they will be dislodged until you practice a few times. I will say it does a great job of keeping out wood chips. I’m going to keep it as it will work well for demos and teaching. It will not replace my Safety cap or my other options. MTCW

The first thing I noticed was no charger or cable. At over $500 they don't include a power cable to recharge the battery? There is nothing in the description that indicates this. I called Peke, they called the supplier and found that this is the base model and you have to pay $70 more for the charging cable etc. WHAT? It's not a problem as it takes a USB-C cable and I have a 240w charger for my phone and laptop. Okay besides that, how does it work? The field of view is amazing, the face shield is over 2mm thick, so should give good protection. It's a little on the heavy side, but after wearing it for an hour at the lathe didn't seem to be a problem. I'm a big guy with no neck problems, so just be aware. In my humble opinion the fan is under powered, it gives adequate air flow, but not as strong as the Peke Safety Cap that I've used for over 5 years. As an all in one solution, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5. The power cable issue really shows a lack of customer care and service. Peke has always given great customer care, but the supplier well hopefully I won't need to find out. Oh one last thing, if you wear hearing aids be aware taking the head set off will need to be done carefully as it is a tight fit and you may have to grab them. It pulled mine off the first few times I used it.
