L’effet rafraîchissant est généré par l’évaporation progressive de l’eau contenue dans le chapeau, qui remplace le processus naturel de refroidissement par la transpiration. Cela permet de réduire les risques de stress thermique et de déshydratation, susceptibles d’exposer les travailleurs à des accidents et à des blessures.

Pour remplir le chapeau d’eau, il suffit d’ouvrir le joint d’étanchéité et d’y verser 100 mL d’eau froide.

Didn't work for me
I was planning to use this while hiking in Utah National Parks where they have high temperatures and generally lower humidity. I tried it on a 95 degree day and followed the instructions. I was able to feel the cold water I put in it, but that only lasted about 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes, sweat was dripping from under the hat and I was so hot I had to take it off. I went back to a "dew rag" cotton cloth like I normally wear and it worked much better. Maybe it works for some people, but maybe not my bald head. The concept sounded good but ended up not living up to its promises at all.

Good Idea
I bought this hat to wear as a golf hat playing in high heat in TX. It's a little confusing getting the water inside the zip lock tab. Also the inside brim of the hat is poorly made and installed. Mine hangs half down the rim of the hat and no amount of pushing it back up helps. It does seem to help keep the head cooler, after 2-3 uses.
