Microclimate Air 3 HEPA PAPR System

The first thing I noticed was no charger or cable. At over $500 they don't include a power cable to recharge the battery? There is nothing in the description that indicates this. I called Peke, they called the supplier and found that this is the base model and you have to pay $70 more for the charging cable etc. WHAT? It's not a problem as it takes a USB-C cable and I have a 240w charger for my phone and laptop. Okay besides that, how does it work? The field of view is amazing, the face shield is over 2mm thick, so should give good protection. It's a little on the heavy side, but after wearing it for an hour at the lathe didn't seem to be a problem. I'm a big guy with no neck problems, so just be aware. In my humble opinion the fan is under powered, it gives adequate air flow, but not as strong as the Peke Safety Cap that I've used for over 5 years. As an all in one solution, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5. The power cable issue really shows a lack of customer care and service. Peke has always given great customer care, but the supplier well hopefully I won't need to find out. Oh one last thing, if you wear hearing aids be aware taking the head set off will need to be done carefully as it is a tight fit and you may have to grab them. It pulled mine off the first few times I used it.
