The HDV Premium Face shield features a flip down, ANSI Z87 Plus-rated polycarbonate face shield that is completely optically correct, making it a superior choice for those engaging in detailed work where finesse and maximum visibility is required.

The Z87.1 “Plus” impact rating means the optically-clear visor has passed additional impact testing over and above a Z87 rated shield. These tests include:

A penetrating strike from a 500 gram (1.1 lb) spike dropped from a height of 1.2 meters (4.2 ft)
A high-velocity impact from a 6.25 mm (1/4”) ball bearing fired at 20 different specified impact points
