The CleanAIR HEPA PAPR integrates a powerful motor fan into a modular, lightweight, waist-mounted form factor and combines it with a HEPA filter. Optional head pieces include a lightweight Unimask, a full-face versatile Omnira helmet, or heavy-duty CA40G grinding shield and safety helmet.

    Worth it!

    The build quality on this unit is excellent, and it is extremely comfortable. It provides more than adequate airflow, and filters very well. The only limitation is that you are limited to ear-plug style hearing protection. However, most people are fine with that, and there are some excellent Bluetooth options avaliable out there.

    All in all, easily worth the price and I'm glad I have one. I use it five days a week!

    Excellent, but buy suspenders

    My furniture-making daughter recommended this, and I'm very glad she did. I've been cutting lots of cedar and treated pine for a gazebo project, and I'm about to begin sealing the lumber with zero VOC whey water proofer. COVID damaged my lungs, and I want to keep what I have left.

    Delivery was swift. The box looked like it had rolled all the way from Florida, but contents were undamaged. Thanks to powered air and HEPA, filtration is very good even though I have a beard. Also, my glasses don't fog. Visual field is excellent. The helmet looks bulky but isn't heavy, due to the power/filtration unit riding on the belt (more on this below). The PAPR keeps me comfortable when working outdoors in high humidity. I can work for several hours on one battery charge.

    The only little gotcha is the weight of the battery belt. I'm considering buying it a set of suspenders.

    Worth every penny

    My only regret was waiting so long to buy it. I live in the desert and the summer months are brutal. My shop is air conditioned but it still reaches temps in the mid 80’s. So honestly, I wasn’t wearing anything other than glasses while turning because my helmet was always fogging up. This system has been a real game changer.

    I tried the back harness, but after wearing it for 6 hours, it made my back ache. I will stick with the belt.

    Clean air filter mask

    The clean air face shield if comfortable to wear for hours will woodturning and does a great job of filtering out ca glue fumes

    Impossible to buy additional HEPA filters

    I would love to give 5 stars and was planning to do it, but I can not find place to buy additional filters.

    I am a woodworker with severely compromise lung and when I bought CleanAir HEPA system , I was very happy to restart my woodworking. I like mask and positive pressure filter very much. Not very heavy on the head, good visibility, wide open visor. Easily with glasses on the face.

    But now time to replace filter, and I can not find find any place to order.
