The Headcool Evaporative Cooling Hat is activated with regular faucet water, providing an immediate cooling sensation around the crown of the wearer's head that can last up to 72 hours.
The cooling effect itself is generated by water evaporating from the hat over time, replacing the body's natural process of cooling through sweating. This helps the lessen the risk of heat stress and dehydration, which can put workers at risk of accident and injury.
Charging the hat with water is as simple as opening the seal and filling it with 100 mL of water, ideally cool or cold.
The Headcool Evaporative Cooling Hat comes in one size and is available grey, white, and hi-viz yellow colors.
